Digital privacy, cleanup, and trace reduction.

ASHDRIFT is a local-first, open-source toolkit for discovering, reducing, hardening, and monitoring your digital footprint.

The problem

Discover. Reduce. Verify.

The internet remembers more than it should. ASHDRIFT helps you identify accounts, profiles, data-broker records, breach exposure, and other traces tied to your identity — then gives you a structured way to decide what to remove, secure, compartmentalize, or continue monitoring.

Methodology

AFTERLIGHT

AFTERLIGHT is an independent privacy-cleanup methodology. It can be followed on its own or supported by ASHDRIFT.

Discover → Classify → Act → Verify → Monitor

A removal request is not the same thing as verified removal.

The toolkit

Four modules. One workflow.

Ghost Key

Account and exposure discovery.

Dead Ledger

Inventory, classification, risk assessment, and cleanup tracking.

Scatterglass

Identity compartmentalization, correlation reduction, and data obfuscation.

Signal Warden

Recurring monitoring and exposure reappearance detection.

Privacy by architecture

Local first.

Your privacy tool should not become another collector of your data.

ASHDRIFT is being designed around local processing, minimal retention of personal information, explicit human authorization, and auditable open-source software.

Open source

Built in the open.

ASHDRIFT is under active development and is intended to remain available to individuals as free, open-source software.
